About the event
The Walker County Civic Center and 27 Farmers Market are getting ready for a day of fall fun as the Annual Fall Festival returns on Friday, October 16, 2026.
This year’s festival will feature something new — a Chili Cook-Off — and organizers are looking for chili contestants ready to put their best recipes to the test. Local cooks and chili lovers are encouraged to participate and help make the inaugural competition a success.
The Fall Festival is completely FREE for the community and will feature plenty of activities for the entire family, including inflatables, kids’ games, a petting zoo, local vendors, food trucks and more.
Whether you want to compete in the Chili Cook-Off, enjoy some great food or bring the kids out for an evening of fall activities, the festival promises something for everyone.
