About the event
This unique outdoor gathering pairs live bluegrass music, locally brewed beer, and great food in a relaxed festival atmosphere. You will enjoy performances from Randy Steele and the High Cold Wind and New Grass Express, while sampling craft brews and dining with fellow conservation supporters. As dusk falls, one of the event’s hallmark moments is watching endangered gray bats emerge from Frick’s Cave—a powerful reminder of what SCCi’s work helps protect.
Proceeds from Bats, Beer, & Bluegrass go directly toward SCCi’s mission to conserve caves and karst landscapes across the Southeast. Whether you’re a supporter of wildlife, a fan of outdoor music events, or simply looking for an unforgettable evening under the stars, this event combines purpose with celebration in a setting that reflects the very natural resources SCCi works to safeguard.
This event is sponsored in part by Walker Rocks and Ruby Falls.
