ANNOUNCED AT THE CREAG FOR A LIMITED NUMBER OF GUESTS
LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Tenn. (December 23, 2020) —McLemore is introducing its “Flavors of
Winter” menu in conjunction with their first New Year’s Eve dinner. The à la carte menu is
specially curated from regional sources and focuses on the southern dining experience. The
Creag is open to the public by reservation only and excited to welcome guests to the newly
Appetizers feature pimento hush puppies with harissa aioli, house made candied bacon with
a bourbon glaze and apple slaw or beet tartare with pickled onion, avocado and lime served
on a toasted baguette.

Salad options include a bibb wedge with Stilton cheese, walnuts, bacon and buttermilk
dressing or a Kale Caesar with shaved Romano, house-made Caesar dressing and herb
The selection of entrees includes glazed beef short ribs with Cipollini onions, baby carrots
and fingerling potatoes; a roast strip loin with root vegetable gratin and port demi-glace;
Joyce Farm airline roasted chicken breast with butternut squash, kale and herb broth; crab
cakes with corn relish and lemon basil aioli; or Smoked Otter Creek trout with Swiss chard,
heirloom tomato and olive.
Dessert offerings include banana cake with chai frosting and granola, fried apple pie with
caramel ice cream, or sweet potato bread pudding with whisky crème anglaise.
New Year’s Eve at The Creag
Chef Anthony Hooper notes, “Because this is our first New Year’s Eve at The Creag, we want to
provide guests with a dining experience that they will come to expect from us. Our menu
features regional farm to table fare and reflects the rich history of the area.”
McLemore is hosting dinner for a limited number of guests on Thursday, December 31.
McLemore’s restaurant, The Creag, is offering a prix fixe menu featuring three courses for $45
The first course offerings include a bibb wedge salad with Stilton cheese, walnuts, bacon and
buttermilk dressing or a mushroom tart tatin with goat cheese and a balsamic drizzle. The main
course will feature a choice of Smoked Otter Creek trout with Swiss chard, heirloom tomatoes
and olives or a roast strip loin with root vegetable gratin and a port demi-glace.
Guests may have a difficult time in selecting between the sweet potato bread pudding with a
whiskey crème anglaise or a flourless chocolate cake with caramel ice cream for their dessert.
Each course features wine pairings for an additional $35, or they may opt for specially curated
